Caption |
Fern Sawyer was well-known as the first woman to win the National Cutting Horse Championship in 1945, along with several other rodeo wins. She was also well-known for her vast wardrobe. She had well over 200 pair of boots, many of them were custom-made by Paul Bond. His boots were made to have pantlegs tucked into them in order to show off the elaborate designs. This pair has Sawyer's brand sewn into them. |
